I chose Pi-Day for the holiday of March 14th (I wish could take credit for that pie).
It was a hard decision, because I wanted/needed to celebrate Napping Day. I picked Pi-day because I didn’t have time to nap, and I thought it would be more interesting than hearing about how long I slept. I did celebrate Napping Day in heart by “resting my eyes” as I: sat on the bus, watched yo gabba gabba during babysitting, and read my book. After drinking a diet coke I no longer needed to celebrate Napping, and was ready to celebrate Pi-day. Fortunately, Morton’s Grill (a nice steak house) was also celebrating this odd holiday.
They were selling key lime pie that is normally $10.00 a slice for only $3.14 (3.14, too funny Morton’s!). I was so proud that some restaurant would get into the holiday spirit, and of course went and bought a slice to give to Mr. at work.
He was thrilled because Key Lime is his favorite pie! Happy Pi Day
